But HOLY CRAP NEW NO MORE HEROES 2 SCANS. Unf unf unf UNF. Travis wielding two Beam Katanas and sporting unnecessary belt loops wrapping around his thigh YES PLZ. I can't form coherent thoughts because alksdjfalsdfoaf too excited and like I NEED THIS GAME NOW.
Dying to know what happened with Henry, though. And if Shinobu's back in the sequel because I LOVE HER AND SHE AND TRAVIS NEED TO HAVE THEIR EPIC LOVE REMATCH. And cute nerdy recorder girl is adorable and I want to believe her recorder turns into a double-sided Beam Katana and that she is no threat to my dorky lame, barely past statutory, why-am-I-even-shipping-in-this-game Travinobu love because she and Travis are looking mighty cute and cozy sitting back to back. Sylvia's jacket tails and skirt are super tiny and the new assassin Nathan Copeland looks like a kick and NO BISHOP DON'T DIE YOU'RE HIS ONLY FRIEND and wow Desperate Struggle is actually looking SRS BSNS compared to NMH and I'm so lksdjflasdkjflasdf excited.

I like how I should be working on my radio/alternative performance pieces and scriptwriting pages, but instead of being generally productive I choose to rewatch most of KIBA on YouTube so I can refresh my canon knowledge enough to write an app for Noa at... some game I haven't even decided upon yet. I'm stuck between two choices. Ooh, I came across English dubs of the second half of the series, awesometimes. But after three dub eps. I realized I don't have the second half on DVD yet and I wanted to wait till I had it to watch the series dubbed, so I switched back to watching the old fansubs. Noa's always been my pet character, but mmm did I forget how hot he can be when he's being a power-hungry jerk. And now I kind of want to cosplay him as Dolga because lol I can pull off his hair, but that'd be a dumb idea because I can't take myself crossplaying seriously and practically nobody knows KIBA, so who'd know who I am?
I also forgot how much of a pimp Noa is without even trying. Sure, Robes is designed to be the in-canon fangirl favorite because he's rich and princely and voiced by Miki Shin'ichirou and random stock women characters flock over him every so often. But Noa's a magnet for most of the important female characters and he only ever hits on one of them, and then that's just a benign, "Oh, I didn't realize how much prettier you are without your glasses, Kira." Even his seiyuu Horie Kazuma seemed to notice and made this lovely succinct chart of who has a thing for whom on his blog.

Noa's probably been nursing his hero worshiping boycrush on his best friend since Zed saved him from getting beat up from those bullies when they were kids. Not to mention who was the one who could snap Noa out of letting Tusker possess him to screw up the world and offered the Pokemon Spirit god his body instead? ZED. So yeah basically I SHIP IT.
Dag, I love this show even though the faithful to the Japanese script English dialogue sounds occasionally corny and it's supposedly as generic shounen as shounen can be. Fine, I can admit to those faults, but I still uphold the opinion that Noa's "180 personality shift" is completely justified and in-character. Well, at least in-character. Acting like a stiff bastard upholding somewhat communist laws and manipulating everyone to catch Legendary Pokemon collect Key Spirits to gain the power to recreate the world? Generally not a coolio thing to do. Lol, love that kid, though. And based on what Sis told me about Gurren Lagan or however it's spelled I kind of crossover ship Neotopia!Noa with timeskip!Rossiu even though I guess that'd be kind of pedo because Rossiu is 21-ish and Noa's 15? "Mm baby, I love how you think laws and government are more important than everything in the world ESPECIALLY YOUR BEST FRIEND." Lolololololol I'd fic or art it if I didn't suck at both fandom activities. Yeah.
Edit: Wait what? Noa's seiyuu dubbed Nick Jonas in that lame Camp Rock movie? Nick is the young, supposedly cute Jonas brother, right? Rofl, I wonder if anyone over at seiyuu has the Japanese dub of that movie and will upload it sometime, ahahahahaha.
Edit, 03-29, 3:50 AM: Okay, just finished the series. The final battle stuff is still anticlimactic, but the epilogue ksjdflakjdsfldsf still makes me cry. Why did Zed and Noa have to be separated forever? Why did Noa have to get sickly again? Why did Mickey just now become relevant to the series again, and why did it have to eeeeend? Gah, this series gets at me so much it's pathetic.

You know how CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL? I'm realizing that Shinobu (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) seasonofsamurai) is my cruise control for cussing. See, I can't say or often even type curse words myself unless I'm quoting someone else because lol I'm a language pansy, but as long as I'm playing a character I can at least type Very Bad Words like nothing. It's lamely therapeutic being able to throw F- and S-bombs just so.
Bah. Remembered I should write this out so I don't forget all the crap I have to do for end of semester.

The English class stuff is what's mainly freaking me out. That paper is due this Friday, and I still don't have a topic to write about, orz. It's also the only class I have an exam for, but essay exams are the worst for me. Suck face.
And I'm feeling like Easy Mac right now. Whoot for microwaveable macaroni and cheese.

| 06:07 pm - I've been updating a lot lately. I kind of like it.
This ice cream tastes like Splenda. Not a fan of Splenda, personally.
More importantly than whether such artificial sweeteners will prevent me from becoming diabetic or give me cancer, how. The heck did I miss this issue of Teen Titans GO!? I didn't know they were actually going to introduce Ravager into GO!verse. This excites me because what little I know of her in DC Comics canon makes her awesome, so that means GO!Ravager is automatically awesome. Something like that.
But more importantly, Ravager being in the Titans cartoon canon obviously means I WAS RIGHTtebayo! Okay, not exactly because that issue doesn't talk about the subtexty ep. "Haunted" at all, but the fact Ravager's all like, "RAWR MUST TAKE UP DEAD DADDY'S EVIL MANTLE!!!1one" more or less suggests she had reason to take revenge on the Titans for killing Daddy Dearest and trigger the LSD dust that made Robin hallucinate Slade molesting beating the living daylights out of him. Whoo for theories becoming canonish. I feel smart.

Al icon is back to being Al again. This must be Photobucket's fault.
This was also meant to go up last night, but the wireless was being finicky.
UGH the notes I took for this Smokey Mountains package suck so bad. There is like, no information whatsoever and all of the three soundbites I caught are fluff and don't say anything. I am so tempted to just blow off this assignment and make up for it with the extra credit books the prof gave us. Reading one or two books and writing about how they impact my writing sounds a lot easier than writing an impromptu news package from crap notes.
Speaking about that class, I love how all my classmates complain nonstop about how the prof is a jerk-off who purposely makes it hard for them to succeed in his class and how they're all failing, and I have a 96%. Maybe the reason why you're failing is because you can't get your freaking act together, brats. I hate college kids sometimes. Especially in that class.
I also really want to drop my Journalism II class. The prof is great and I'm learning in his class, but I have no motivation whatsoever to go out and interview/research stories for it, even if they'll be published in the school paper. I'm convinced I'm allergic to journalism. Blarugh. And I know I probably could do well in the class if I got my act together, but considering I have like UNDER 9000 motivation I don't see that happening and think I'd be better off dropping it completely. Feh, I have plenty of space next semester to finish out my writing major requirement. I'm already done with my communication one.
Random: I've acquired a sudden, inexplicable, unfounded fangirlism for No More Heroes. Which of course I have never played because I don't own a Wii. The extent of my knowledge is from looking up the Wiki, stalking occasionally following the characters if they come up in a RPG I'm browsing, and running through the no_more_heroes com like a fiend. I know it has lots of stylish, funky-looking assassin bosses, ridiculous fountains of blood which I don't normally like, a hoh-snap! long lost twin story trope, and...that's pretty much it. I dunno, something about a game centered around an otaku assassin -- the kind that is an otaku, not kills them, sorry to say -- makes me hot turns me on much amuses and intrigues me somehow.
Additionally I've been afflicted like an STD with a massive, WTFrick-inducing crush on fecking ( TRAVIS TOUCHDOWN. ) Uh, not supposed to be my fictional guy type ever. Does not compute. Aviator sunglasses also never =/= glasses, and you know how I am with pretty megane boys. As far as I'm concerned, he should have nothing going for him except that he's a GIANT LOSER GEEK and that manages to outweigh everything else and make him *insert incoherent button-mashing here* HOT.
How does that meme on fandomsecrets about characters who aren't supposed to be sexy but are go? I think something like
